Our brands

Two sides.
One ecosystem.

Famvia.com creates the demand. VacationLab.io creates the supply. Together they form the only platform building for both sides of the travel market simultaneously.

Our story

We got burned.
So we built
the solution.

Travel is one of the most emotional purchases a family makes. So why is the industry built on 1990s technology, zero human connection and no real path for travel experts to build something of their own? We set out to fix both sides simultaneously.

Our CEO's family experienced this first hand when a travel agent using legacy tools didn't actually book the cruise they were supposed to go on with friends. This mistake cost $1000s of dollars to fix (not to mention the hours spent on the phone) and set him on the path towards fixing the industry.

01
The problem
The travel agency model was
broken on both sides

Families were booking vacations worth $1000s through outdated portals with zero personalized guidance. Travel advisors — some of the most passionate people in any industry — were stuck with clunky 90s booking software, no modern marketing tools and no real path to build something of their own. The industry had stalled. We saw the gap.

02
The insight
Anyone can book a trip.
We will make you a travel advisor.

The best travel advisors aren't born. They are people who already love travel, research destinations obsessively and help their friends plan trips for free. We realized we didn't need to recruit advisors. We needed to find people already doing the job and give them the tools, training, and brand to get paid for it.

03
The build
Two brands.
One ecosystem.

Famvia became the consumer marketplace: where families find expert advisors and book the trips of their lives. VacationLab became the advisor engine: free training, modern tech, a real community and commissions. Supply meets demand. Advisors power the marketplace. The marketplace feeds the advisors. The flywheel turns.

04
The play
Our unfair advantage:
proprietary AI no one else can train

The legacy travel advisor spends 10+ hours per booking from research to booking to post-booking engagement. We created and own the largest collection of leisure travel planning content on the internet. This content (only available to us for training purposes) and our traveler dataset feed our internal AI tools that translate into saving our advisors 8+ hours per booking. Less time spent on manual tasks = more time selling travel = more $ for advisor and us.

05
What's next
Building America's
Travel Advisor Revolution

Our network effects are baked in with each new travel advisor recruited. More advisors. More families who actually enjoy planning their vacation. More destinations. Our proprietary intelligence engine, SORS, gives every advisor an unfair advantage. The category is ours to define as we bring in more of the best travel brands in America and roll them into one vertically integrated platform.

"After experiencing the broken leisure travel agency model and booking process firsthand, I became obsessed with creating a true traveltech company that's better for both travelers and travel agents."
